Nokia has confirmed that the UK is included in six launch countries for its first smartphone running Windows Phone 7 OS.
It's due to be released towards the end of the year and the US is not in the debut countries list. They are: UK, Italy, Germany, France, Holland and Spain. No details of the Noklia WP7 phones are known - the photo above is a leaked "concept" design.
Nokia says it's abandoning its failing Symbian OS in favour of the Microsoft flavour: both companies are hoping it will help them regain their foothold in the smartphone market.
