New Job Post "Indicates Apple Is Working On Turn-By-Turn Navigation"

AppleInsider has uncovered an Apple job advert that indicates the company could be working on turn-by-turn navigation on its iOS devices.

The listing is for an "iOS QA Location Engineer":
"You will join a dynamic team responsible for qualifying the latest iOS products, working on exciting new features for iOS location services," the listing reads. "The successful candidate will complete both documented and adhoc testing to ensure high quality releases."
Apple is playing catch-up with Google Maps' free turn-by-turn navigation software. iOS devices still reply on Google Maps - without turn-by-turn - for their built-in maps.

Bit of a leap from "working on"..."location services" to turn-by-turn navigation, no?

Fair comment. But surely Apple wants to catch up with Google?
