"One Last Production Run" For Cut-Price HP TouchPad

Demand in death continues for the HP TouchPad, with one last little resurrection.

If you've ordered one of the cut-price devices and still haven't heard if you'll get your hands in it, there's hope yet.

HP says it will be producing "one last run" of TouchPads to meet the death demands.

The device was suddenly popular when HP announced it was scrapping the TouchPad - and all webOS devices - and slashing the price to get rid of stock. Not surprisingly, it sold out.
Despite announcing an end to manufacturing webOS hardware, we have decided to produce one last run of TouchPads to meet unfulfilled demand. We don’t know exactly when these units will be available or how many we’ll get, and we can’t promise we’ll have enough for everyone. We do know that it will be at least a few weeks before you can purchase.
