Amazon App Store Starts International Roll-Out

The Amazon App Store for Android tablets and smartphones is going international.

It was launched earlier this year in the US-only and it seems it's now being rolled-out in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and India.

It means customers in those areas can use their localised Amazon account details to buy apps for their Android devices.

Amazon set up the store in opposition to Google's Android Market store.
