Apple retail stores throughout the US will close for an hour-and-a-half on Wednesday, October 19, as a special celebration is held for the life of Steve Jobs.
The event will take place in an outdoor amphitheatre at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California from 10am-11.30am Pacific Time and will be broadcast live to the shops.
Apple employees in other countries will be able to watch a recording of the event later.
