I've long been a fan of the Intelliscreen app for jailbroken iPhones. But the original Intelliscreen doesn't work on iOS5.
OK, Apple has improved the notifications on iOS5, but they're still not a good as they could be. And that's where IntelliscreenX comes in.
The developers, Intelliborn, are beta testing IntelliscreenX, which looks to be a superb update. I won't go into details here except to say it makes your Notification slide-down MUCH more functional. Have a look at the video below.
Intelliborn is hoping the public release of IntelliscreenX will be very soon in the Cydia store on jailbroken iPhones. Of course, there's only a tethered jailbreak at the moment, and no jailbreak at all yet for the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2.
But when we get an untethered jailbreak, IntelliscreenX will be the way to go. It'll cost $9.99 for new users, or $7.99 if you're upgrading from the original Intelliscreen.
