A major new feature in the iPhone 4S is Siri voice-recognition assistant, but it seems it's working better for some and not for others.
If you find Siri has difficulty saying or understanding some names in your address book, you can add a field in each entry for the phonetic spelling of names. But it's only on some devices.
It seems some 4S phones have this feature and others don't - even though all are running the same software.
It seems it may be carrier specific.
My iPhone 4S doesn't have this feature and Siri has major problems pronouncing my name. If it's a software glitch, Apple is remaining silent.
