Apple has released the first beta version of iOS5.1 to developers for testing.
The next major update to the iPhone iPad and iPod Touch operating system was made available today in the iOS Dev Center.
It's thought the update will concentrate on further battery-life and Siri Voice Assistant improvements.
It'll take a good few weeks for the various beta versions to be tested before there's a public release.
