Earlier this month, Google released its first Gmail iOS app. But it had a bug that buggered up new mail notifications. So it was pulled.
Well, it's back and it seems notifications now work, although the rest of the app is as crap as the first version.
It's still basically a web app. In fact, just using your idevice Safari browser for Gmail is a better experience.
If you still want it, it's a free download in the App Store. It seems it's a bit of a staggered release, with the US going first and - presumably - the rest of us to follow.
