Is This RIM's Fight-Back Blackberry Smartphone?

It looks like this could be the Blackberry smartphone RIM hopes will get it back into the race with Apple and Android.

The photo fell into the hands of The Verge website, which says the device is called the Blackberry London and will be RIM's first smartphone running its new BBX operating system.

The Verge says the device is said to be scheduled for release in June 2012. BGR says its sources have confirmed the phone is real, although not expected to go on sale until Q3 2012.
The phone allegedly is equipped with a TI OMAP dual-core CPU clocked to 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. The London is reportedly "thinner than the iPhone 4" and roughly the same size as a (Samsung) Galaxy S2 (though our source didn't say which S II specifically).
Blackberry sales have been steadily falling as buyers turn to Apple's iPhone and the gaggle of Android devices.
