iPad 3 "To Launch In January With Double Battery Power"

Taiwanese tech website DigiTimes is reporting that a new iPad could be released as soon as January 2012 and it will have double-capacity battery.
The battery capacity for the high-end version of Apple’s new iPad – due to be unveiled in January 2012 – will be increased to 14,000mAH compared to 6,500mAH used currently, according to industry sources.
That could take battery life to 20 hours.

DigiTimes has already reported that we can expect two new iPad variants in 2012 - one continuing to fill the high-end market with the other being a cheaper model.

We must admit, a January release seems highly unlikely. Could it be DigiTimes is picking up rumours put around by Apple rivals aimed at hitting sales of the iPad?

Probably.
