Siri Clones Appear In Android Apps Market

Update: Siri for Android has now been pulled from Google Market, as have the developers other apps.

While I'm not a huge fan of the Siri voice assistant on the iPhone 4S, many are. And already it's being copied. Siri clones are appearing in the Android Market.

Siri for Android (above) simply opens the Android built-in Google Voice Actions. Although, it does appear to rip-off Apple's Siri logo.

Another, Speerit, seems to mimic the Siri UI. According to 9to5mac, it's only available in the Korean language at the moment, but there are plans for an English version.

It's all a good example of the difference between Apple's tightly-controlled App Store and Google's lightly-policed Android Market.
