"Inside Apple" - Interview With Author Adam Lashinsky

Business schools teach students that "upward mobility" in a company - the prospect of promotion - is essential. They also teach "company transparency" is vital. Apple breaks both those rules.

It's one of the most secretive companies - even to employees - in the United States. And employees tend to stay in their jobs for a long time, if not for their entire careers at Apple.

The new book "Inside Apple" aims to lift the lid on the company's workings. It's written by Fortune senior editor-at-large Adam Lashinsky. Here's a 50-minute interview with him.

"Inside Apple" by Adam Lashinsky is out now, including in the Apple iBookstore for £10.99.
