Nokia Lumia 710 Goes On Sale In UK On February 1

Mobile News reports that Nokia's second venture into the Windows Phone OS market - the Lumia 710 - will go on sale in the UK on February 1.

It follows the launch of Nokia's more expensive Lumia 800.

Contracts for the 710 start at £15.50 a month with no up-front cost for the handset, which is expected to be stocked by all the major networks and retailers.

The device is a lower-end version of the 800 but still sports a 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.7 inch touchscreen and a five megapixel camera.

Nokia has added extras including free turn-by-turn navigation and music streaming, hoping to make it more appealing than other manufacturers' Windows devices.
