It looks like Nokia's survival gamble to team up with Microsoft might just pay off.
Research firm, Strategy Analytics, has produced figures showing Nokia's Windows Phone devices got 33% of all WP sales in Q4 last year. And the devices were only launched part-way through the quarter.
Nokia's entry has also boosted WP overall sales - up 36% to 2.7m units shipped. That means Nokia's elegant Lumia 800 and bargain Lumia 710 shipped 0.9m units. Not bad going at all. And we're still awaiting the bigger-screened Lumia 900.
