Tim Cook Gets The Ear Of Top Government In China

We knew Apple CEO Tim Cook was meeting senior government figures during his current trip to China...but we didn't realise just how senior.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting Cook met with Vice Premier Li Keqiang, who's expected to succeed Wen Jiabao as China's Premier next year.
"The executive met with Mr. Li on Tuesday to discuss intellectual-property issues and greater cooperation, according to state media. In its evening news broadcast on Wednesday, state-run China Central Television showed Mr. Li meeting with Mr. Cook at Zhongnanhai, the closely guarded compound here that houses China's top leaders."
