Apple Releases iOS5.1.1 Update, Jailbreakers Beware

Apple has released iOS5.1.1 software update for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. There are no new features, but the update fixes some annoying bugs, including the intermittent "unable to purchase" notification when you try to buy apps from the App Store.
• Improves reliability of using HDR option for photos taken using the Lock Screen shortcut
• Addresses bugs that could prevent the new iPad from switching between 2G and 3G networks
• Fixes bugs that affected AirPlay video playback in some circumstances
• Improved reliability for syncing Safari bookmarks and Reading List
• Fixes an issue where ‘Unable to purchase’ alert could be displayed after successful purchase
If you have a jailbroken device, don't update if you want to keep your jailbreak. At the moment, there's no jailbreak for iOS 5.1 or  5.1.1 on newer A5 devices - the iPhone 4S, the iPad 2 and the new iPad. Older devices running both the operating system versions can be jailbroken with Redsn0w for Windows and Mac...BUT IT'S AN TETHERED JAILBREAK and you'll need to plug your device into your computer every time your reboot it.

There's still no ETA for an untethered jailbreak for the newer OS.
