Apple "To Supply Adaptor" For iPhone 5 Smaller Dock Connector

There's a lot of huffy-puffy indignation floating around the internet over apparently confirmed reports that the next iPhone will have a smaller dock connector - 30-pin down to 19-pin. The iPhone 5 - due out in the Autumn - will be the first Apple device with the new dock, but it seems it will be part of all future iPads and iPhones, including the up-coming iPad Mini.

Well, hold your bluster a bit. That renowned website of all-things-Apple, iMore, claims its sources say Cupertino will be providing an adaptor, so current accessories - chargers, speakers and the like - can still be used with the iPhone 5.

It's not known if the adaptor will be in the iPhone 5 box...or if you'll have to pay for it. And, of course, there's no guarantee it'll fit into all accessories. But at least Apple acknowledges the problem.
