Let's be honest. Apple's £1bn court win over Samsung is not the end of the world for the South Korean Company which rakes that amount in every couple of days.
So, it hands over $1bn and what had it got to show for it?
By copying Apple's iPhone, Samsung has made its Galaxy range the biggest-selling smartphones in the world. Samsung's mobile division is the second most profitable in the industry, behind Apple.
Even if the court does eventually ban the sale of some Samsung phones in the US, they're older models and can be cut without much sweat.
That's what Samsung has got for $1bn, and cheap at the price.
