Reserve iPhone 5 And Pick Up In-Store In UK (Update: And In US Now Too)

If you're still trying to get your hands on a new iPhone 5, Apple is - not surprisingly - making it a little easier.

There are still queues outside Apple Retail Stores. There were two lines today - nearly four days after launch - at my local store - one for SIM-free sales and one for contract sign-ups.

So what you can do now is reserve your scuffed shiny iPhone 5 on-line in the UK and collect it in-store without (hopefully) queueing. Apple doesn't guarantee it, but you should be able to get your hands on your new phone the next day.

Update: We hear Apple is launching the same reserve system in the US.
