Microsoft tells IJSMblog it's investigating WP8 random reboot bug

Microsoft has now confirmed it is investigating the Windows Phone 8 random reboot bug.

Increasing numbers of users are reporting unexplained reboots - sometimes several times a day.

It seems the most-affected phones are the two flagship devices, the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC 8X. Both phones were released a couple of weeks ago.

Nokia has already said it's looking into the problem and now a Microsoft spokesperson  has told IJSMblog it is "currently investigating reports of the incident".

Several theories are flying around over the cause. Nokia thinks it may be incompatible apps running in the background. Some users think it's caused by the Facebook app. Others say they have no rebooting problems at all.
