Official HTC 8X case - is it worth it?

So...you've got your slim, sleek new HTC 8X Windows phone. The next life-changing question is: do you shove it in a case? It may save it from scuffs and scrapes, but will it spoil its looks?

We've been searching around for a decent case for the HTC 8X and the best of the - very small - bunch is the official HTC snap-on back case.

We've only found it in blue, which matches exactly the blue version of the phone and is made from hardened matt plastic. It probably won't save any screen smashes, but it will stop scratches on the backplate.

It's a bit difficult to clip on and take off, but it looks the part. It adds very little bulk to the device with most people not even realising there's a case on.

The cost? Well, it depends where you look, with prices up to £15.  The best we found was UK Mobile Store at £9.90 with £1.99 postage within the UK.

So...is it worth it?

Yes, it is. The phone still looks good...and will keep its looks.
