Big speed boost for Rowi Twitter app with WP8 update

Our Windows Phone Twitter app of choice has just got even better. Rowi has been updated with support for WP8.

-Voice commands like "rowi tweet" with support to translate voice to a tweet

And that improved performance really shows on the new OS. Tweets load much faster - and we mean much faster - and the whole user experience is more fluid.

The new expandable live tile is a bit of a disappointment and the developers have not provided any lockscreen integration.

The update is just for WP8 devices, but we hope the developers will be updating the WP7 version as well.

Rowi costs £1.29/$1.49 and there's also a free lite version which is fully functional except for push notifications.
