Increasing numbers of HTC 8X owners are reporting improved battery life, after downloading an update for Windows Phone 8.
Microsoft started pushing out the OTA update yesterday for the HTC device. It's a staggered release and other WP8 phones will follow soon.
Contributors to tech forums who have updated say it seems there's a noticeable improvement in battery life.
Some are reporting increases of up to a third.
The other under-the-bonnet aim of the update is to fix random crashes being reported by users of WP8 devices.
