The excellent - and free - Nokia Drive Plus turn-by-turn navigation app has been released to all Windows Phone 8 devices in the UK, US and Canada. We expect other areas to be included soon.
Until now, it was an exclusive to Nokia Lumia WP8 phones.
Nokia agreed with Microsoft to release it to all when it partnered with the software giant...and it's stuck to its word.
It'll now run on HTC's 8X and 8S and the Samsung ATIV S/Odyssey.
Drive is a fully-fledged navigation app with downloadable maps, turn-by-turn voice navigation and 2D or 3D layouts.
As yet, we don't know when or if it will be released for non-Nokia phones running Windows Phone 7.
Technically, the WP8 Drive app is still in beta, but works flawlessly and this release will no doubt boost sales of non-Nokia WP8 devices.
