Microsoft has released the SDK - Software Developers' Kit - for Windows Phone 7.8.
It gives app developers a chance to make sure their software will work ok on the new OS - specially the new resizable startscreen tiles.
It also means the release of the OS update is imminent.
And so it should be.
It was announced last June!
We're still sticking with a roll-out starting on January 31.
