UK network O2 is to have the exclusive launch of the Huawei Ascend W1 smartphone running Windows Phone 8.
It will go on sale on March 7 and will cost a budget £119 on prepay.
It has a 4" screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a big 1950mAh battery and a 5MP camera.
But...it comes with only 4GB internal storage. It's expandable with a microSD card, but all apps and maps must be stored internally, along with the operating system. This could cripple the device with Microsoft's ever-expanding "other" storage problem.
