Minuum aims to shrink keyboards on mobile devices

The traditional QWERTY keyboard is getting to be a bit of a problem as we transfer our everyday computing tasks onto smaller devices.

Keyboards as we know them simply take up too much space on smartphone and tablet screens.

And if we move onto watches, well, what happens then?

A group of people in the US calling themselves The Minuum Keyboard Project have come what with what they claim is a solution and they're trying to raise money to get it off the ground.

It shrinks the QWERTY keyboard down to one wiggly line of letters which relies on sophisticated predictive text and spell checking to keep everything accurate.
