Microsoft and Google kiss and make up over YouTube

Google and Microsoft have - apparently - decided to work together to come up with a new updated YouTube app for Windows Phone.

Yeah! I bet.

It comes after Google sent a cease and desist order to Redmond when Microsoft updated the app (to great reviews btw) to include downloads and ad blocking.

Eventually, Microsoft rolled over and withdrew the update and the two tech giants held hands to release a joint kiss-and-make-up statement:
Microsoft and YouTube are working together to update the new YouTube for Windows Phone app to enable compliance with YouTube’s API terms of service, including enabling ads, in the coming weeks. Microsoft will replace the existing YouTube app in Windows Phone Store with the previous version during this time.
So does this mean Microsoft (Windows Phone) and Google (Android) are now holding hands and skipping into a loving and caring sunset?

You must be joking!
