Microsoft has realised an update for its new YouTube app, following a cease-and-desist letter from Google.
The update disables the ability to download videos - one of Google's two demands.
The other was to stop blocking ads, which it seems Microsoft is not complying with.
Google, which owns YouTube, has refused to release a dedicated YouTube Windows Phone app, leaving Microsoft to make its own.
So...if you want to continue with downloads, don't update.
