Lumia goes metal: Nokia unveils new Lumia 925 Windows Phone flagship






Nokia has officially unveiled its new Windows Phone 8 flagship smartphone - the Lumia 925.
The phone is based on the current Lumia 920 but with a slimmer aluminium casing and more powerful 8.7MP camera.
It will go on sale in June and Vodafone has confirmed it will be one of the first networks in the UK to stock it, as well as T-Mobile in the US.
Nokia has also confirmed it will be releasing a software update for its Lumia range in July which will include an FM radio for WP8 devices and better camera functions. The FM radio feature will be for all Lumias except the 620 which lacks the hardware to support it. In fact, the FM receiver software is already included in the Windows Phone 8 operating system and the update will activate it.
There's no accurate price yet for a SIM-unlocked Lumia 925 In the UK, but it's likely to be £550-£600.
