Skype snubs Windows Phone as it launches video messaging

At best this is ironic. At worst crassly stupid.

Skype has launched video messaging. It's a neat new feature that lets you leave a short video message for someone.

It's launched it on iOS. On Android. On Windows. On Mac OS X. Jeez...it's even up and running on Blackberry.

BUT IT'S NOT ON WINDOWS PHONE.

Did they just forget about Windows Phone? Did they deliberately ignore it? Perhaps it's a joke and we'll all be laughing tomorrow when the WP app is released?

Oh yes, and in case you've forgotten. Microsoft owns Skype.

It paid £5.4bn for the company in 2011.
