Microsoft's own Facebook Beta app for Windows Phone 8 has just been given a major update.
The app now includes inline tagging (something that many users have been demanding) and the ability to attach photos in Facebook messaging.
Another biggie is being able to save and share photos on your timeline. Pressing and holding the pic brings up a menu. And you can now upload multiple photos.
Also a useful arrow bubble now appears as you scroll down your timeline which will take you back to the top with a tap.
The whole app seems smoother and faster and it becoming a real alternative to the official Facebook apps on iOS and Android.
It's great to see Microsoft putting in the effort to match (or hopefully better) the rivals.
Get it here, but remember it's still in beta testing so there may be some imperfections - although we haven't spotted any.
