How to create a shortcut to get straight to your note list in OneNote on Windows Phone

OneNote is a great built-in note-taking app in Windows Phone. But it can be a bit of a trudge to get to your list of notes.

If you've pinned OneNote to your Start Screen, do you find it opens at something called Personal (Web), which you tap and it takes you to Unfiled Notes, which you tap to take you to your list of notes?

Here's a way to shortcut all that.

Unpin OneNote from your Start Screen. Now open OneNote from your apps list.

Tap away until you get to your list of notes. Then hit the Windows Home button on your phone....don't hit the back button.

Now repin OneNote to the Start Screen.

You'll find it will now open at your notes list.
