You've got to hand it to Nokia and its support of Windows Phone. It keeps churning out the apps.
The latest for WP8 Lumia devices is HERE Explore, from Nokia's HERE mapping division, which won't be part of the Microsoft buy-out of the Finnish company's mobile division.
We've seen similar apps before, but this one seems super-slick and populates itself with restaurants, cafes, hotels, pubs and entertainment near you.
It also provides info on how to get to places by foot, car and public transport.
It's still in beta and we've had a couple of crashes, which trigger an easy way of reporting the problem to Nokia.
