Every so often a really, really useful app is released in the Windows Phone Store...and the latest is System Tiles.
It lets you add system settings shortcuts to your Start Screen, which in itself is extremely useful.
But it also has many other shortcuts that you can pin to your Start Screen as tiles including new SMS, new Calendar entry, new Contact and new Email.
Not only that, but you can group some of these shortcuts together in Start Screen folders.
The System Tiles app comes from the same developer - Amaze Pictures Inc - who produced SysApp Pusher to easily check for updates to manufacturer-exclusive apps and settings.
