Nokia pulls HERE Maps from Apple Store, blames iOS 7

Nokia has pulled its HERE Maps app from the Apple App Store blaming problems with the new iOS 7 operating system.

The free app was launched on iOS when Apple's own mapping app failed to work properly and came in for widespread criticism.

Nokia says it's withdrawn HERE Maps because of changes made by Apple:
"We have made the decision to remove our Here Maps app from the Apple App Store because recent changes to iOS 7 harm the user experience. iPhone users can continue to use the mobile web version of Here Maps under m.here.com, offering them core location needs, such as search, routing, orientation, transit information and more, all completely free of charge."
Nokia doesn't go into detail about how the user experience has been harmed.
