Website Neowin has released a screengrab of an image that briefly appeared on Microsoft's official website announcing that Build 2014 will be in San Francisco on April 2-4.
Build is Microsoft's annual get-together for app developers and it's widely expected that Windows Phone 8.1 could be unveiled.
It might also see a hint of what new smartphones MS is planning after it's buy-out of Nokia's mobile phone division.
The announcement image was only live for a short time before it was withdrawn. But....seems a fair bet.
