OK...it's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week, when phone-tablet-satnav-laptop-smartwatch-etc manufacturers show off their goods and unveil some goodies planned for the next year.
So what can we expect on the Windows Phone front?
Well, not a great deal, I'm afraid.
Most significantly, Nokia will unveil the Nokia X, the company's first foray into the world of Android (probably along with a small handful of new/updated Lumias).
The X will be loaded with a much-modified version of Google's mobile OS, which won't include a Play Store but will include some form of Nokia store for apps and things.
It's a mid-to-low-end smartphone and will come in a range of Lumia-esque colours. But it's interesting that Nokia is branching out into Android just as it's about to be bought up by Microsoft.
We may also see a new Samsung WP phone and, of course, no congress would be complete without a new photo app from Nokia. This time it's called Imagin8 and will let you do very clever things to photos.
So...let's raise a glass of Rioja to Barcelona 2014 and bullfighting being outlawed at last.
