Official Facebook Messenger app released for Windows Phone 8

As promised, an official Facebook Messenger app has been released for Windows Phone 8.

The free app lets users send emoticons and pictures and allows for group chats, although there are no "chatheads" as in Facebook Messenger apps on other platforms.

Messenger is just like texting, but you don't have to pay for every message (it works with your data plan).
