Here's something to add to the list of new features coming with Windows Phone 8.1. If you restore your phone - or get a new WP phone - it will not only restore your settings and apps, but it will also restore your Start Screen layout and tiles.
It's understood it will also let you choose which apps to restore and not just automatically download them all.
