Microsoft says the new entry-level Nokia Lumia 630 will go on sale in the UK on May 29 priced at £89.95.
It puts the 630 head to head with Motorola's new budget Android smartphone, the Moto E.
The 630 will be loaded with Windows Phone 8.1 as well as Nokia's updated Cyan firmware.
It has 8GB built-in storage in addition to a microSD slot and a 4.5" screen.
Confirmed retailers include Carphone Warehouse, EE, O2, Tesco and Amazon.
