It's long been rumoured that HTC is preparing a Windows Phone version of its hugely-popular One M8 device. And Engadget is now reporting that the aluminium-clad phone will be released by the end of September.
The website says it's heading for the operator Verizon in the US. We're presuming this will herald a worldwide rollout and could prove to be a big and welcome boost to sales of WP8.1 handsets.
The design of the 5" HTC One M8 follows its predecessor, the One, and has become a classic in the mobile phone world.
