Are you finding the UK Cortana a bit unfriendly and, well, not chatty enough when you just want to pass the time of day with her?
Do you find she doesn't reply to you and instead throws you to a Bing search page?
Well, here's how to make her more chatty.
Basically you have to clear her cache on your phone and start again.
So.....turn Cortana off by going to Settings >Applications > Cortana.
Open the built-in WP voice system by holding down the search spyclass button and accept the terms.
Ask the system one question.
Now go back to Settings > Applications > Cortana and at the bottom of the page you'll see a Clear Phone Data button. Hit it.
Go back to your apps list and open Cortana. She'll begin the set-up process and afterwards you should find her more chatty.
Ask her to sing you a song. Or tell you a joke. Or marry you.
Actually, forget that last one because it would be, well, strange.
