Not much I can add to these figures from the respected industry analyst IDC, except to say they're disastrous for Windows Phone.
Market share is down to 2.5% from 3.4% a year ago. Shipping numbers are down as well.
This will surely add to the speculation that Microsoft may scrap WP, or at least put it on a back-burner, in favour of Android.
