Give Microsoft its due, it hasn't taken it long. Less than 48 hours in fact.
Some users complained of their devices throwing up error 8018830F when they tried to update to Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 using Preview for Developers.
WP software boss Joe Belfiore says it was a fault in the update package and it's now been put right.
So, if you tried and failed, try again.
