New Windows Phone app to automatically log-in to O2 WiFi hotspots in UK - and you don't have to be an O2 customer

UK carrier O2 has released a nifty new app which lets you log-in to any of its thousands of free WiFi hotspots.

The O2 WiFi app for Windows Phone 8.1 just needs setting up once - and not even via an O2 hotspot - and it will then automatically log you in when you're in hotspot range.

And even better - you don't have to be an O2 customer to register and use it.

It will even tell you where the nearest O2 hotspot is...and how to get there.

• Register for O2 Wifi, wherever you are in the UK (not just in a Hotspot).
• Find and get directions to a Hotspot, even when you’re offline.
• Manage your settings (and any other wifi devices you have) on O2 Wifi.
• Get answers to questions you might have.
