We feared it would happen...and now it has.
The official Facebook app for Windows Phone is going down the "Top Stories" road of its iOS and Android counterparts.
Up to now, Facebook Beta users on Windows Phone could choose between two Timeline formats - Most Recent or Top Stories.
Most recent is the logical choice whereas Top Stories lets Facebook decide the order of the posts on your Timeline.
Now the Beta app has been updated and the default is set at Top Stories. You have to go into setting to select Most Recent....and the app will go back to the Top Stories default the next time it starts.
Why...why...why...why...why???
It doesn't make sense.
And if the Beta app has changed now, you can bet this will work its way to the officially-released Windows Phone app.
