Microsoft Lumia 1330 phablet specs confirmed

We've known for sometime that Microsoft is working on a new phablet and now the specs are becoming clearer.

It will be the Lumia 1330, follow up to the 1320, which we think is an excellent phone but seemed to have been forgotten about by the Nokia/Microsoft marketing machines.

These are the specs of the 1330 as recorded by its GFXBench stats.

There's nothing too surprising. At 5.7" the screen is a little smaller than the 1320, but still phablet-sized.  Internal storage will be 32GB and we don't yet know if there will be a storage card slot.

You'll see the memory listed as 0.38GB - that means a RAM of 1GB.

It's reported that the phone will have wireless charging using a clip-on cover and will come in the usual range of colours.

We also expect the phone to be released pretty soon...say February....and at a mid-range price....say about £250.

Microsoft badly needs a Lumia phone to become a big hit if Windows Phone is going to make any major headway.

It doesn't look like the 1330 is the one to do it.
