Apple Watch skips a beat...heart rate monitor could be dropped

It looks like Apple is still having a hard time with its forthcoming smartwatch.

There are fairly strong rumours that heart rate monitoring is being dropped...because it's too inaccurate.

Not surprising really. If you've ever tried a health wristband that measures heart rate, you'll know that they're all pretty inaccurate.

It seems the only failsafe way is still that darned monitor band round the chest.
